Guest Service Agent – Front Desk Hospitality Role

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Guest Service Agent to join our team at the newly transformed Novotel, Mercure and ibis Darwin Airport Resorts. This casual position works on a rotating 7‑day roster, covering mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, providing front‑desk support to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Handle reservations, inquiries and special guest requests.
• Provide local knowledge and recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
• Process payments, maintain accurate transaction records and update guest profiles.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience (front‑desk preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
• Valid Australian work rights; the role is not available for sponsorship.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Opera Cloud property‑management system (advantageous but not essential).
