Group Reservations Specialist

About the role

The Group Reservations Specialist is responsible for selling hotel rooms and providing information to prospective guests, with a focus on group and corporate reservations. This position ensures a seamless pre‑arrival experience for group clients and manages business blocks according to contractual terms.

Key responsibilities

• Capture reservations through online and offline channels, prioritising group and corporate bookings.
• Manage group blocks and rooming lists in Opera Cloud, including creation, modification, and cancellation.
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Finance to optimise inventory utilisation and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare and distribute rooming list reports, confirmation letters, and pro‑forma invoices.
• Maintain guest profiles and preferences for group guests, ensuring accurate communication of payment instructions.
• Monitor contract terms, deposits, and cancellations, and relay updates to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple group bookings simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
• Understanding of hotel revenue strategies and group contract management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera Cloud property management system.
