Grooming Salon Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pet Stylist to step into the role of Grooming Salon Manager at Petbarn Midland. You will lead a passionate grooming team while delivering high‑quality clipping and scissoring services across all breeds.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of grooming services independently, completing 6‑8 appointments per day.
• Train, develop, and manage the grooming team, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Handle client consultations, quoting, bookings, invoicing, and ordering of supplies.
• Oversee daily salon operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional grooming experience.
• Ability to complete all grooming services without supervision.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent dog handling and breed knowledge.
• Willingness to complete a two‑hour grooming trial as part of the selection process.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed/coat types.
• Proficiency in consultation, quoting, bookings, invoicing, and operational tasks.
