Graphic and Multimedia Designer

About the role

Possability Group, part of the Independence Australia Group, is looking for a versatile Graphic and Multimedia Designer to join its Brand & Marketing team. This is a full-time, 6-month opportunity with the possibility of extension, in a hybrid arrangement of 2-3 office days per week at the West Footscray office, with the rest of the time remote. The work alternates between print, digital and social media design, video editing and motion graphics.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging designs across print, digital, social media, campaigns and events.
• Edit video, develop motion graphics and create animated content for digital channels.
• Help shape creative concepts and bring ideas to life across formats.
• Work with existing footage and creative assets to produce polished content.
• Collaborate with designers, Marketing, Communications and other teams.
• Keep brands consistent, accessible and well presented.

Required profile

• Around 2-5 years' experience in graphic design, multimedia design or a similar creative role.
• Experience designing for both print and digital, including video editing and motion graphics.
• Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, plus Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
• Good eye for typography, layout, colour and composition.
• Ability to juggle projects, adapt to changing priorities and work well with others.
• A portfolio showing creative thinking and versatility.
• Experience in the not-for-profit, disability or community services sector is a bonus but not essential.
