Graduate Water Resources Engineer

About the role

Join AECOM’s Water Resources team as a Graduate Engineer and work on real‑world projects from day one, supporting flood studies, stormwater management and urban water design across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with flood impact assessments, hydraulic modelling and drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• Support mine water assessments, stormwater management plans and water‑sensitive urban design (WSUD).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to report writing and engage with clients as needed.

Required profile

• Final‑year or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication, teamwork and a proactive, adaptable mindset.
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity and AECOM’s diversity and inclusion values.
