Graduate Paediatric Speech Pathologist

About the role

A healthcare provider founded to give people the care they need at home, school, childcare or in the clinic is hiring a New Graduate Paediatric Speech Pathologist. The role suits a recent graduate who wants to specialise in paediatrics, with a caseload mainly of in-clinic clients and some community visits, in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide therapy from the clinic in South Morang, with occasional kinder and school visits
• Treat children with speech, language, fluency and social communication needs
• Support clients using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
• Give strategies for stuttering, voice and social skills development
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to maximise client outcomes
• Manage your own caseload with autonomy and support

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Speech Pathology
• Eligible or current Certified Practicing Membership with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (SPA)
• Driver's licence and access to a car
• Full Australian working rights
