Graduate Nurse Program 2027

About the role

HammondCare is offering a full-time contract Graduate Nurse Program for 2027, based at one of its hospitals in Macquarie Park, Neringah or Braeside. The Registered Nurse works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to deliver safe, effective and quality patient care. These are 12-month full-time roles starting in March 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Work within the scope of professional nursing practice.
• Contribute as a team member and promote the mission and mission in action.
• Rotate through Rehab, Palliative Care and Older Peoples Mental Health across the Macquarie Park, Neringah and Braeside sites.

Required profile

• Eligibility to register with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and clinical problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
• Demonstrated understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the role.
• Demonstrated understanding of applying continuous improvement to quality and safety.
• Demonstrated understanding of the HammondCare Mission in Action, purpose and values.
