Graduate Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level

About the role

Dematic is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join its engineering team. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands‑on exposure to the full project lifecycle within the logistics and material handling sector.

Key responsibilities

• Generate system layout, installation and fabrication drawings, ensuring safety, environmental and sustainability considerations.
• Prepare specifications for purchased goods and services.
• Create internal (factory) orders and support procurement processes.
• Assist with internal and on‑site testing activities.
• Support lead engineers in delivering projects on time and to quality standards.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong mechanical design capability.
• Experience with AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
