Graduate Façade Engineer

About the role

Egis is seeking a Graduate Façade Engineer to join its Melbourne office in 2027. You will work on real façade projects from day one, supporting design, performance modelling and technical analysis for a variety of buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in façade design, engineering calculations and documentation.
• Perform building performance modelling and façade performance assessments.
• Collaborate with architects, structural, acoustic and other engineers to achieve optimal building physics and sustainability outcomes.
• Review contractor submissions, drawings and calculations for compliance with standards.
• Build relationships with clients and develop contacts within the façade industry.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a tertiary degree in Civil Engineering (Structural).
• Available to start February 2027 and holds relevant work rights for full‑time employment in Australia.
• Strong interest in design, architecture and sustainability.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous internship or vacation work experience in a consulting environment is highly desired.
