About the role

Join SMEC, part of Surbana Jurong, as a Graduate Engineer focused on Water Infrastructure in Brisbane. You will work within a hybrid environment, supporting end‑to‑end water cycle projects such as pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities while developing your professional skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on major water infrastructure projects, including design and documentation.
• Prepare proposals, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Participate in community initiatives linked to water projects.
• Engage in mentoring, networking events, and industry workshops.
• Complete both in‑person and online training on consulting, client interaction, and time management.

Required profile

• Recent Civil Engineering graduate (within 2 years) with a credit average.
• Strong desire to build a long‑term career in water infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and effective time‑management skills.
• Understanding of analytical methods and engineering principles.
