Graduate Cost Planner

About the role

Mirvac is looking for a Graduate Cost Planner to join its Cost Planning team in New South Wales. Working alongside experienced cost planning professionals, you will gain practical exposure across the development lifecycle, from early feasibility and detailed cost planning through to construction, in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of construction cost plans, from early area feasibility through to detailed elemental cost plans.
• Undertake cost analysis and benchmarking to support informed project decisions.
• Assist with budget quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Contribute to risk identification and value management throughout development and construction.
• Attend project meetings and collaborate with development, design, commercial and construction teams.
• Take part in Mirvac's Cost Planning Graduate training program, including formal training and mentoring.
• Stay informed on building regulations, industry guidance, market trends, emerging technologies and health, safety and environment requirements.

Required profile

• A relevant tertiary qualification in quantity surveying, construction management, property, engineering or a related discipline.
• A genuine interest in construction cost planning and the residential property sector.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to organise priorities and deliver to deadlines in a program-driven environment.
