Graduate Accountant

About the role

Roy Spagnolo & Associates, a top 100 accounting firm, is looking for a Graduate Accountant to join its team in a cosmopolitan Australian city. The role assists Accountants and Team Leaders with accounting services for a range of clients, including annual accounting, compliance and management accounting support.

Key responsibilities

• Client relationship management: communicate proactively with clients, explain the value of services beyond annual accounting, and monitor service levels against client expectations.
• Annual accounting and compliance: help prepare financial statements, tax and other compliance returns, and support management accounting.
• Support cashflow forecasts, letters and business plans, and prepare correspondence, reports and other documents as required.
• Professional development and business development: engage in ongoing learning and build external networks and referral relationships.

Required profile

• Accounting qualification.
• CA/CPA certification or intention to complete it.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage workload and priorities.
• Ability to achieve KPIs and communicate clearly and on time with clients.
