Grade 2 Dietitian – Mental Health and Wellbeing Service

About the role

Bayside Health is recruiting a Grade 2 Dietitian (Year 1 to Year 4) for its Mental Health and Wellbeing Service, based in Frankston, Victoria. This is a fixed-term part-time position of three days per week until October 2027. The role sits within the Wellness Clinic, which delivers multidisciplinary, community-based physical health and psychosocial interventions in a recovery-oriented model.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the multidisciplinary team to deliver dietetic services for inpatient and community consumers
• Provide scientific health and nutrition information and turn it into practical, individualised advice aligned with each person's recovery goals
• Deliver individual consultations and facilitate group programs
• Provide leadership and clinical supervision, including mentoring students and Grade 1 staff
• Contribute to quality and research activities

Required profile

• Extensive experience in nutrition and dietetics
• Member or eligible for membership of Dietitians Australia and the Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) program
• Previous experience working with clients living with mental illness in a hospital or community setting
• Current Victorian driver's licence

Required skills

• Ability to supervise and mentor students and junior staff and promote professional competence
• Leadership and clinical expertise at Grade 2 level
