Government Account Executive – Brisbane

About the role

We are looking for a Government Account Executive to join Askable’s Brisbane office. You will be responsible for acquiring new state and local government customers, driving six‑figure ARR contracts and expanding our public‑sector footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target state and local government agencies that need fast, high‑quality user research.
• Manage end‑to‑end sales cycles, including multi‑stakeholder procurement and business case development.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and customer‑success teams to ensure deep understanding of the research platform.
• Leverage Askable’s AU data residency, Essential Eight compliance and existing references (e.g., Services Australia, ATO) to win deals.
• Build trusted relationships with prospects, follow a disciplined sales process and consistently meet or exceed quota.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling SaaS or technology solutions to government organisations.
• Strong ability to navigate complex procurement processes and multiple decision‑makers.
• Track record of closing high‑value contracts (six‑figure ARR).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
