GitHub Architect – DevOps Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a senior GitHub Architect to design, implement, and govern enterprise‑grade development workflows, repository structures, and CI/CD pipelines on the GitHub platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding multiple engineering teams through complex migrations and security implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable GitHub organizations and repository structures aligned with business and security requirements.
• Define and enforce governance policies for access control, branch protection, repository lifecycle, and auditing.
• Lead migrations from Jenkins, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps to GitHub, creating detailed roadmaps.
• Implement GitHub Advanced Security controls such as secret scanning, dependency tracking, and code scanning.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable GitHub Actions, runners, and environments for CI/CD.
• Collaborate with security, product, and leadership teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Consultative mindset with the ability to listen to engineering friction points and propose structural remedies.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex DevOps setups into executive‑level roadmaps.
• Strong problem‑solving aptitude for debugging pipeline blockers, caching issues, and runner resource limitations.

• Deep knowledge of Git internals, GitFlow, Trunk‑Based Development
