Geotechnical Engineer - Mining and Rail Infrastructure

About the role

A respected EPCM contractor delivering major mining and heavy haul rail infrastructure projects across the Pilbara, Western Australia, is offering a long-term contract for a geotechnical engineer. The role combines field investigations, technical analysis and project delivery within the resources sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver geotechnical engineering solutions for mining and transport infrastructure projects
• Plan and supervise site investigations and fieldwork programs
• Undertake geotechnical assessments, analysis and interpretation of ground conditions
• Provide technical input into earthworks, foundations, slopes, embankments and infrastructure design
• Support multidisciplinary project teams from concept through to execution

Required profile

• Degree qualification in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience delivering geotechnical projects in mining, resources, infrastructure or transport
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation, analysis and reporting
• Willingness to undertake regular site visits and fieldwork
• Permanent residency or citizenship within Australia is required
