Geotechnical Engineer

About the role

CMW Geosciences, a Kiwa Group company with 23 offices and over 350 employees across Australia and New Zealand, is growing its Adelaide office and is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer with at least 4 years' experience. The role applies technical expertise to significant infrastructure, transmission and renewable energy projects in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out technical and non-technical tasks at the direction of senior professional personnel, with support and training when needed.
• Work with the technical team to develop technical solutions using engineering and geological principles.
• Perform fieldwork, data collection and processing, and design and reporting.
• Support the progress of all aspects of project delivery under the direction of senior technical staff.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering degree.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Geotechnical Engineer.
• Minimum of 2 years' Australian Geotechnical experience.
• Experience in Project Management and Site Investigations.
• RPEQ, or on the pathway to obtaining it.
• A full Australian driver's licence.
