Generalist HR Adviser

About the role

BlueFin is looking for a collaborative and adaptable Generalist HR Adviser to support its people and business across the full HR lifecycle. This is a hands-on, varied role based in the Sydney CBD with three days in the office, on a four-month contract starting soon.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full HR lifecycle, from onboarding through to employee relations and offboarding.
• Coordinate remuneration reviews, including the annual January review cycle.
• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Support internal recruitment and selection.
• Build capability and support performance and development initiatives.
• Give practical HR advice to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.

Required profile

• Strong generalist HR experience across the employee lifecycle.
• Remuneration review and payroll processing experience (essential).
• Experience in internal recruitment and capability development (highly regarded).
• Collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Industry experience is an advantage but not essential; transferable HR skills from other sectors are welcomed.
