About the role
A general sonographer position at a 700-bed public hospital in Townsville, Queensland, which has more than 175 clinical staff including radiologists and registrars. The listing is for a fixed-term assignment.
Key details
- 8-hour days; weekend work and on-call duty are not mandatory for locums
- Appointments of 30 minutes, morphology scans of 1 hour and third-trimester scans of 45 minutes
- 13 to 15 patients per day in a team of 12 sonographers
- Equipment: GE Voluson E10, four Canon i800 scanners, GE Logiq 10, PACS and RIS system
What is offered
- Accommodation booked by the candidate or the recruiter, up to $180 per night, reimbursed by the client on proof of receipt
- Car provided for the duration of the assignment
- Travel allowance for fixed-term contracts and relocation allowance for permanent placements
