About the role

The General Practitioner role at Family Doctor provides comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population across Australia. You will deliver holistic, patient‑centred services while benefiting from modern clinic resources and full clinical autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain detailed clinical records and follow evidence‑based guidelines.
• Participate in preventative health initiatives such as immunisations, screenings and chronic disease management plans.
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to deliver coordinated care.
• Support patient education and health literacy.

Required profile

• Demonstrated clinical expertise in Medicine and Family Medicine with a holistic, patient‑centred approach.
• Experience in primary care, including acute presentations, chronic disease management and preventative health.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing and allied health professionals.
• Interest or experience in training, mentoring or continuous professional development.
• Current medical degree and AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner; VR status or progress highly regarded.
• Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g., FRACGP, FACRRM) or equivalent recognised overseas qualifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with clinical software and digital tools for patient records, billing and evidence‑based decision support.
