About the role

VicVet, a general practice and emergency and critical care provider in Melbourne's north, is recruiting a General Practice Veterinarian for its Whittlesea location. The practice offers a varied caseload, the chance to build lasting client relationships and the support of a collaborative team. It is open to experienced vets and those looking for the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general practice veterinary care with a varied caseload
• Contribute to an integrated model of primary care, emergency and referral medicine
• Manage a diverse emergency caseload and help develop clinical workflows and protocols
• Receive mentorship from experienced clinicians and support from a dedicated emergency and critical care nursing team

Required profile

• Veterinary degree registrable in Victoria (BVSc, DVM or equivalent)
• Full-time or part-time availability, with flexible rosters across day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts
