General Manager – Retail & Wholesale

About the role

This senior leadership position oversees an omni‑channel retail and wholesale division, driving growth across physical stores, eCommerce platforms and wholesale partnerships. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the General Manager will shape strategy, optimise operations and enhance the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall performance and growth strategy across retail, wholesale and eCommerce channels.
• Own full P&L accountability for multiple brands and drive commercial outcomes.
• Develop and execute brand, product and customer strategies to support long‑term growth.
• Identify and implement opportunities to scale and optimise operations across all channels.
• Build, mentor and develop high‑performing teams in product, digital, retail and operations.
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers and partners nationally.
• Deliver operational excellence while balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to uncover new growth opportunities and drive innovation.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in retail, wholesale, eCommerce or multi‑channel consumer businesses.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving growth and managing full P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to lead across retail, wholesale and digital/eCommerce channels.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
