General Manager - Large Medical Centre, Adelaide

About the role

A client of HealthStaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced General Manager for the largest medical centre in South Australia, which has 30+ employees and many doctors. The full-time General Manager leads the executive team, reports to the owner and oversees all aspects of the practice while helping set its strategic direction and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with patients, doctors, employees, tenants, specialists and allied health to ensure positive outcomes for all relationships.
• Manage human resources, including systems, compliance, team building, performance management and training.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of efficient practice management systems and procedures.
• Liaise with healthcare providers, patients and external stakeholders to coordinate care.
• Help develop and implement marketing and business growth strategies.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar role or as a practice manager.
• Practice management experience within the healthcare industry.
• In-depth knowledge of medical practice operations and healthcare regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and commitment to developing a high-performing team.

Required skills

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

What we offer
