General Manager, Finance – Australia & New Zealand

About the role

Lush is seeking a commercially‑minded General Manager, Finance to lead the finance function across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the APAC Board, you will be the senior authority on governance, risk and financial control while driving digital transformation of finance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own the internal control environment and manage relationships with tax authorities, auditors, banks and insurers.
• Oversee statutory, tax and group reporting, including BAS/GST, FBT, transfer pricing and payroll tax compliance.
• Direct a 12‑week rolling cash‑flow forecast, manage banking relationships, foreign‑exchange exposure and working capital.
• Sponsor continuous finance systems improvement, integrating ERP, POS and workforce‑management platforms.
• Provide financial modelling and commercial insight for new retail sites, capital investments and cost‑reduction projects.
• Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary finance team, ensuring payroll and industrial‑relations compliance.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification with substantial post‑qualification experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of Australian and New Zealand accounting standards and statutory/taxation requirements.
• Proven experience in governance, risk and compliance within a multi‑entity environment.
