Gasfitter Plumber Apprentice (2nd-3rd Year)

About the role

MEGT is recruiting a 2nd or 3rd-year Plumbing Apprentice (HVAC Plumbing) to work with one of its clients across Melbourne. You will work alongside experienced plumbers and gain hands-on experience on electrification projects, earning while you learn toward a nationally recognised Certificate III in Plumbing.

Key responsibilities

• Remove, disconnect and replace existing hot water systems
• Install and connect new hot water systems
• Connect hot water pipework and associated components
• Test systems, check for leaks and ensure correct operation
• Use hand and power tools safely while keeping the work area clean and safe

Required profile

• 2nd or 3rd-year Plumbing Apprentice with previous hands-on plumbing experience
• Experience with hot water systems and installations is highly regarded
• Genuine interest in developing a career in plumbing and HVAC
• Motivated, reliable and willing to learn
• White Card or willingness to obtain one to work on site
