Fun Squad Service Manager (OSHC Coordinator)

About the role

PCYC QLD is seeking a Fun Squad Service Manager (OSHC Coordinator) to lead and oversee its Alligator Creek Fun Squad Service. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead a team in an innovative culture, build stakeholder relationships and strengthen the PCYC brand while promoting a supportive culture of safety aligned with PCYC Queensland values. The position is permanent and part-time, 32 hours per week, paid $42.07-$49.73 per hour depending on experience, qualifications and service size.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the service so it operates in line with government regulations, legislation, the National Quality Framework and organisational requirements.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to increase commitment to the PCYC brand.
• Inspire a supportive culture of safety in line with PCYC Queensland values.

Required profile

• Qualified Service Managers need a minimum Diploma in Childhood Studies or another qualification recognised by the regulatory authority; unqualified managers need a minimum Certificate III in Childhood Studies or equivalent and are working towards a Diploma.
• One of the following child protection certificates: CHCPRT025, CHCPRT026 or CHCECE057.
• Ability to take on the responsibility of a nominated supervisor.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing Fun Squad operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a multidisciplinary Fun Squad team.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a current First Aid and CPR certificate, or able to obtain them.
