Fullstack (.NET + Python) Developer

About the role

A recruiter is working with a client in critical infrastructure in Melbourne, Australia, that is looking for a Fullstack Developer. The role uses .NET, Python and JavaScript and is offered on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy software changes following established standards.
• Support manufacturing production solutions with end-to-end system solutions for production processes.
• Ensure manufacturing solutions software complies with data analytics and IT requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational and integration issues and monitor system performance.
• Assist with testing procedures and document results to meet software requirements.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation and scheduling, supporting project and supplier management.
• Develop strategies and IT procedures to improve workflow, efficiency and end-user satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in software development and delivery.
• Experience participating in code reviews and adhering to coding standards.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and collaborate with global teams.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with DevOps, cloud-native solutions, containerization, CI/CD and microservices.
• Familiarity with REST API implementation and consumption.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial or operational technology, and exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments and stakeholder engagement.
