Full Stack Software Engineer (React / .NET)

About the role

Compass is looking for a Junior to Mid‑Level Full Stack Software Engineer to help build new web applications and extend the core platform that powers education for thousands of schools. You will work across a variety of small‑scale projects and larger features, using a modern C#/.NET and React stack while collaborating with senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Take well‑scoped tickets from definition to production, partnering with product managers and fellow engineers.
• Design, develop and maintain secure, high‑performance software used by students, parents and teachers worldwide.
• Scale up new web applications and add features to the Compass core platform.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and participate in code reviews to improve overall quality.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals and a disciplined approach to code quality.
• Proactive ownership, clear communication, and curiosity about the product and business.

Required skills

• C#/.NET
• React
• SQL and MongoDB databases
• AI‑assisted coding tools such as Claude Code
