Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript/React)

About the role

Scalapay is looking for an experienced Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join its Experiences & B2B Platform teams. You will design, develop and maintain high‑quality web applications in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using Node.js, TypeScript and React.js.
• Work with relational (MySQL) and non‑relational (DynamoDB, Redis) databases.
• Write unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest) and ensure code quality.
• Utilise modern frameworks such as NestJS and Next.js for scalable architectures.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives).
• Optimise performance, manage CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Node.js, TypeScript and React.js.
• Extensive experience with both relational and non‑relational databases.
• Proven ability to write unit and integration tests.
• Experience working in Agile environments and using Git.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
