Full Stack React/Node Engineer - Short Term Contract

About the role

This is a 4‑week full‑time, remote contract with an early‑stage AI startup. You will work directly with the Founder to ship a live B2B SaaS feature, joining an existing codebase and taking ownership of delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Rapidly understand the current codebase and architecture.
• Develop and ship a new product feature using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js and AWS.
• Design, implement and integrate APIs and third‑party services.
• Handle authentication, user management and payment flows (e.g., Stripe).
• Maintain and optimise PostgreSQL databases in production.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and shipping SaaS products.
• Hands‑on experience with full‑stack development in React, Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing APIs and integrating external services.
• Familiarity with authentication, user management and payment processing.
• Practical use of AWS and PostgreSQL in production environments.
• Ability to start within one week and work independently.
• Australian residency with full work rights.
