Full Stack Engineer (Remote – Australia)

About the role

We are looking for a product‑mindful Full Stack Engineer to help build and ship features for BJAK’s AI‑powered Neobank app. The role is fully remote but candidates must reside in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver end‑to‑end product features across the frontend, backend, APIs and databases.
• Create customer and internal workflows for onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, travel, FX, support automation, KYC and risk.
• Transform ambiguous product problems into reliable systems with clean UX and robust backend logic.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, mobile, backend and AI engineers to launch quickly and iterate post‑release.
• Build internal tools and automation that reduce manual effort and enable teams to operate at scale.
• Own the product after release: monitor performance, debug issues, learn from data and continuously improve.

Required profile

• Proven full‑stack engineering experience with shipped products.
• Comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and production debugging.
• Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows.
• Capable of working fast in ambiguous environments and delivering end‑to‑end outcomes.

Required skills

• React (or similar modern JavaScript framework).
• Next.js or Vue.js.
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs.
• Database design and querying.
• Authentication, integration and reliability fundamentals.
• Production debugging and monitoring.
