Full-Stack Engineer (Python & Web) – AI‑Augmented, Human‑in‑the‑Loop

About the role
Foodini is building a SaaS dietary‑intelligence platform that tags ingredients and menus with AI‑driven safety data. As a Full‑Stack Engineer you will help transform a multi‑repo codebase into an AI‑ready, safety‑first product, working closely with the CTO and Lead Developer in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
- Drive AI‑augmented development workflows, ensuring human‑in‑the‑loop quality gates at every stage.
- Design, implement and optimise Python APIs and asynchronous queue workers.
- Develop and enhance React.js web interfaces and contribute to Flutter/React mobile apps.
- Write comprehensive documentation, automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Australia, the US, the Philippines and Canada.
Required profile
- Junior to mid‑senior developer comfortable with rapid iteration and rigorous validation.
- Strong interest in AI‑assisted software delivery and safety‑critical applications.
- Ability to work on‑site three days a week and remotely the rest.
