Full Stack Engineer – Banking Team (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join HCLTech’s Banking team in Sydney on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on building and maintaining modern web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop front‑end features using Next.js and React.js.
• Implement back‑end services with Node.js.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and deploy to AWS (S3, CloudFront).
• Containerise applications using Docker and, where required, work with Kubernetes.
• Write unit and integration tests and support automated UI testing with Playwright.

Required profile

• 6‑month contract (extendable) based in Sydney.
• Strong programming background in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern web frameworks and cloud deployment.
