Front Office All‑Rounder – Hospitality & F&B Role

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Front Office All‑Rounder to join our boutique hotel in Darling Harbour. This hybrid position blends reception duties with food‑and‑beverage support, allowing you to shape memorable guest experiences across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised check‑in and check‑out experiences that reflect the Handwritten Collection spirit.
• Assist guests with enquiries, payments, requests and daily hotel services.
• Support restaurant and bar operations by providing attentive service to diners.
• Help with events, functions and in‑house dining experiences.
• Share knowledge of the hotel and local area to create meaningful guest connections.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns with professionalism.
• Assist broader hotel operations, including phones, emails and occasional porter duties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Front Office, Food & Beverage or a similar hospitality role.
• Genuine passion for personalised service and positive guest interactions.
• Friendly, confident communication style with the ability to connect with people.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible, team‑focused attitude and willingness to work a rotating roster (mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays).
• Current RSA certification or willingness to obtain it before starting.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel property management systems, preferably Opera Cloud.
