Front End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Front‑End Web Developer to join our Digital Marketing team in South Melbourne. You will build and maintain the client‑side of our web applications, translating business and customer needs into functional, attractive, and user‑friendly experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve multiple websites.
• Optimise website structure and foundation with a focus on user experience.
• Design responsive layouts using fluid grids and flexible visuals.
• Collaborate with developers and graphic designers to create cohesive sites.
• Gather feedback from users and build solutions accordingly.
• Create high‑quality mockups and prototypes.
• Assist back‑end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Ensure graphic standards and brand consistency.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging web technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and SASS.
• 3+ years of proven experience using WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross‑browser/device compatibility.
• Experience with jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
• Understanding of the full web development lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
