Freelance Social Media & Paid Media Account Director

About the role

A freelance account director-level role focused on social media, content and paid media, working with clients in the food, entertainment and pharmaceutical brand sectors. It is a 2-4 week contract at $400-$420 per day, with sponsorship not available. The day rate is a guide only.

Key responsibilities

• Support and work closely with the leadership and creative teams.
• Develop social media and content for entertainment clients.
• Develop and implement integrated communications, including earner-first creative and social media, content and digital marketing strategies.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for key clients and stakeholders.
• Bring to life proactive ideas and new digital strategies, and brainstorm new creative solutions with the wider team.
• Keep campaigns on schedule and on budget, hitting assigned KPIs.
• Work with the leadership team so that planning, strategy and allocations are tracked.

Required profile

• Live in Melbourne and hold full working rights.
• At least 4-6+ years of experience in an agency environment (preferred).
• Previous experience in a creative agency preferred; experience with entertainment or lifestyle clients ideal.
• A relevant tertiary degree in communications, marketing or advertising is desirable.
