FP&A Analyst

About the role

A commercially focused finance role based in Jandakot, reporting directly to a Group Financial Controller. You will turn financial data into practical insights that shape decisions on pricing, costs and M&A initiatives, combining budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and business partnering. The business is in a period of growth and acquisition activity, so the role offers the chance to influence strategy and strengthen commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting across multiple business areas, with clear variance analysis and commentary
• Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and performance analysis
• Support business cases, scenario modelling and commercial evaluations
• Partner with senior leaders to assess financial performance and outlook
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial close activities
• Assist with writing and tendering contracts
• Support broader finance operations as required
• Contribute to process improvements, automation and finance projects

Required profile

• Experience in a similar position
• CA or CPA qualification, or nearing completion
• Experience in financial analysis, management accounting, FP&A or a similar commercial finance role
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Exposure to contracts is advantageous
