Founding Recruiter

About the role

You'll be our first recruiter, owning hiring end‑to‑end as we scale from a small team to hundreds. You'll build the recruiting function from scratch – sourcing, process, employer brand, and the systems that let us hire exceptional people fast.

Key responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle hiring for our hardest roles, including sourcing, screening and closing senior engineers with offers ranging from A$400 k to A$800 k.
• Build a sourcing engine and talent pipeline from zero, together with the process and tooling (ATS, scorecards, structured interviews) that keep quality high as we scale.
• Shape our employer brand and candidate experience so every interaction leaves a strong impression.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑cycle recruiting, ideally with technical hiring at a high‑growth company.
• Proven ability to create a sourcing engine that finds and closes exceptional talent without relying on inbound flow.
• Track record of getting things done end‑to‑end, from understanding hiring needs to sourcing, closing and improving the process.
• Strong hunger to win and thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
