About the role

Join the crew at Treasure Island Resort’s Galleons Bistro and deliver friendly service that makes every guest’s stay memorable. This casual position offers a fun, holiday‑like atmosphere with flexible shift patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders and ensure meals are served with a smile.
• Run meals, clear tables and maintain a clean, ship‑shape dining area.
• Prepare and serve drinks and coffee, applying barista skills where applicable.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to create a seamless guest experience.
• Uphold safety, hygiene and NRMA resort standards at all times.

Required profile

• Previous bar or floor experience in a restaurant, café, bistro or similar customer‑service role.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate – mandatory.
• Food Handling Certificate preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• Availability for a 7‑day rolling roster covering breakfast, lunch or dinner shifts.

Required skills

• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Knowledge of safe and hygienic work practices.
