Fixed Plant Operator – Mining

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Operator to join our team on a new mining project in the Northern Goldfields. The role involves operating and maintaining crushing and screening equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of the crushing plant.
• Monitor and control plant processes and equipment for safe, stable, and efficient operation.
• Perform basic maintenance on chutes, scrapers, and vibrating screens.
• Carry out plant clean‑up tasks such as shoveling, scraping, and sweeping.
• Operate auxiliary machinery including skid steer, telehandler, and elevated work platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating and maintaining fixed plant crushing equipment.
• Mechanical fitting trade background (desired).
• Experience with skid steer, Bobcat or telehandler.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word) and willingness to learn plant operating software.
• Confined‑space and working‑at‑heights training.
• Current, valid driver’s licence.
