Fixed Plant Operator – 12‑Month Residential Contract

About the role

Brunel is seeking a Fixed Plant Operator for a 12‑month residential contract at a major mining operation in Parker Point, Western Australia. The role follows a rotating shift pattern of 5 nights, 5 days and 4 nights, allowing you to return home between rosters.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor fixed‑plant equipment such as stackers and reclaimers safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine operational checks, identify potential issues and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and workplace standards.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant performance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fixed‑plant, processing, mining or similar industrial environments.
• Experience working FIFO/DIDO or remote sites, preferably in Pilbara conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Current Australian C‑Class manual driver’s licence.
• Full Australian working rights and willingness to reside in the Dampier/Karratha region.
