First Nations Business Analyst

About the role

The First Nations Business Analyst supports the delivery of initiatives across ANZ’s First Nations Strategy. Working closely with project leads and cross‑functional stakeholders, the role ensures coordinated planning, transparent reporting and robust governance for multiple projects at various stages.

Key responsibilities

• Provide governance, reporting and administrative support to meet delivery outcomes.
• Assist in business analysis activities that inform project design and decision‑making.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day project activities across the First Nations Strategy portfolio.
• Monitor progress against milestones and proactively escalate risks, issues and dependencies.
• Support project governance processes, including documentation, approvals and reporting.
• Track performance, timelines and outcomes across multiple initiatives.
• Prepare regular status reports, dashboards and updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop materials for governance forums and decision‑making bodies.
• Contribute to business cases, process maps and insights that inform delivery.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and coordination activities across project teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve coordination, reporting and delivery processes.
• Help develop tools, templates and best practices for the strategy portfolio.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in business analysis and project coordination.
• Ability to monitor project milestones and manage risks and dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in preparing status reports, dashboards and governance documentation.
