Fire Project Manager

About the role

A well-established fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Fire Project Manager to join its team and oversee projects across both wet and dry fire systems. The role is advertised by Cranfield Group, based in Sydney, NSW, and offers excellent EBA rates, a supportive team and clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fire protection projects across wet and dry fire systems, from initial planning through to completion.
• Oversee project budgets, programmes, procurement, variations and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and key stakeholders so projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, consultants and internal teams.
• Ensure all works meet Australian Standards, fire safety requirements and quality expectations.
• Identify and manage project risks, resolve site issues and drive successful project outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects within the fire protection industry.
• Strong understanding of wet and dry fire systems; exposure to projects across both disciplines is highly regarded.
• Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, variations, programmes and project profitability.
• Proactive problem solver able to lead teams and manage multiple projects.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and compliance.

Required skills

• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of wet and dry fire systems.
