Fintech Senior Consultant – Front & Middle Office Integration

About the role

State Street’s Charles River Development team is seeking a senior fintech consultant to lead implementations of the Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) for front‑ and middle‑office integration. The role involves translating client requirements into configured solutions, ensuring successful go‑live, and supporting post‑implementation enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to CRIMS implementation projects, analysing requirements and providing product expertise.
• Assist professional services colleagues, develop best‑practice guidance and share knowledge.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, execute proof‑of‑concepts, and help respond to new sales opportunities.
• Educate customers on CRIMS methodologies, advise on implementation best practices, and support defect resolution with product teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5‑7 years of experience implementing mission‑critical financial solutions, preferably in a bank, hedge fund, or asset‑management environment.
• Strong background in front, middle or back‑office investment management workflows, including security life‑cycle events, corporate actions, cash and position reconciliation.
• Proven customer‑service orientation with the ability to build effective relationships and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

Required skills

• SQL proficiency.
• Understanding of multi‑tier technical architectures, messaging systems and relational database structures.
• Experience with post‑trade workflows and trade confirmation platforms such as CTM or TradeNeXus.
