Financial Performance Analyst

About the role

Join Water Corporation’s Financial Services Business Unit as a Financial Performance Analyst. You will work closely with the Manager, Financial Performance to support business units in achieving their financial targets through comprehensive accounting services and performance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide budgeting, forecasting, performance reviews, analysis and reporting for the assigned Business Unit.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial management and Business Performance reports.
• Offer consultancy on finance and accounting issues as required.
• Monitor and report on financial performance of individual groups and business units.
• Identify improvement strategies for sections and groups.
• Review capital investment proposals and assess financial/commercial implications.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the line manager.

Required profile

• Degree‑level qualification in accounting, finance or an approved equivalent.
• Considerable experience delivering financial and management accounting services in a large, multi‑functional organisation.
• Strong experience with computerized financial systems and budgeting processes.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using SAP FICO and related financial modules.
