Financial Analyst – Reporting & Automation

About the role

Join a leading global animal health organisation as a Financial Analyst focused on reporting, automation and analytics for the Australian and New Zealand markets. You will modernise finance processes, build interactive dashboards and leverage AI‑enabled workflows to deliver high‑impact insights for commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Identify repetitive reporting tasks across AU and NZ and automate extraction, transformation and distribution.
• Streamline month‑end close, forecast packages and variance analysis to reduce cycle times.
• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI scorecards covering sales, gross‑to‑net, OPEX and margin analysis.
• Use generative AI tools and structured prompts to draft commentary, analyse variances and summarise trends.
• Partner with commercial and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related field; CPA/CA/CIMA a plus.
• Solid experience in FP&A, financial reporting, business analytics or finance transformation.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to think beyond the numbers.
• Excellent planning, organisation and stakeholder communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Power BI (including DAX and Power Query).
• Power Automate, SQL, VBA and SAP.
• Practical experience with enterprise AI tools for finance workflows.
