Financial Analyst – Marketing Investment

About the role

Join Pernod Ricard Pacific as a Finance Analyst supporting marketing investment across Australia and New Zealand. You will partner closely with Marketing to provide financial insight for brand decisions, strategic planning and new product development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the quarterly advertising & promotion (A&P) rolling forecast process, including budget allocation and spend tracking.
• Manage A&P controlling activities such as expenditure recognition, balance‑sheet reconciliations, accruals, claims and capex submissions.
• Partner with Marketing teams to challenge spend, deliver timely reporting and generate commercial insights.
• Build and maintain financial models for New Product Development projects, supporting gate reviews and post‑launch analysis.

Required profile

• 3+ years of finance experience, preferably in FMCG, liquor or a similar commercial environment.
• Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Finance; CPA/CA qualification or progress towards it is highly desirable.

• PowerBI (or similar reporting tools)
• JDE (or comparable ERP system)
