Financial Accountant

About the role

Easygo is seeking a detail‑oriented Financial Accountant to join its fast‑moving tech business in Melbourne. This all‑rounder position will manage the full accounting function, providing data‑driven insight while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable, allocating receipts, reconciling debtor balances and handling enquiries.
• Manage end‑to‑end accounts payable, recording and paying bills, acting as the primary contact for creditors.
• Maintain asset control procedures and an accurate general ledger, investigating variances and proposing corrective actions.
• Execute month‑end processes, including journals, reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
• Collaborate with overseas entities to support financial reporting and other finance‑related activities.
• Support annual audit, regulatory compliance, consolidation and group reporting.
• Provide accounting support for tax compliance, budgeting and data analysis.
• Maintain efficient document management and record keeping.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of financial and management accounting experience.
• CPA or CA qualification.
• Experience in a software development or technology environment is preferred.
