Finance Officer (Remote)

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Finance Officer to join our fast‑growing Vivaci Industries group. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will provide end‑to‑end accounting support across multiple entities while working remotely from anywhere in Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Manage full Xero accounting cycles for Investorus and other entities.
- Process payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely cash‑flow decisions.
- Reconcile bank and credit‑card statements and oversee merchant facilities.
- Administer room‑rental leases and related invoicing.
- Provide coverage for payroll and department‑head duties during absences.
- Identify and implement automation and process‑improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Finance and COO.
Required profile
- Solid experience across core accounting functions, including payroll.
- Strong proficiency with Xero (essential).
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected to the team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliations.
- Interest in leveraging systems and automation to improve finance processes.
