Finance Officer (Part-Time)

About the role

Elysium Noosa, a luxury hotel and resort group on the Sunshine Coast, is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the day-to-day financial operations of its hospitality business. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Finance and covers multiple food and beverage outlets. It is a part-time position with flexible working days.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts payable: process supplier invoices, monitor outstanding payments and reconcile supplier statements
• Accounts receivable: daily payment allocations, credit collection, credit card reconciliations and resolution of chargebacks
• Cashiering duties, including daily banking
• Reconcile and manage financial transactions across several food and beverage outlets
• Prepare month-end accruals and assist with month-end reporting
• Support the Assistant Director of Finance with finance and administrative tasks and other duties asked by management

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, Bookkeeper or similar role
• Previous hospitality experience highly regarded
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Required skills

• Experience using accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
